Using an Envi home energy monitoring system with an Inspeed wind meter i am able to track all of my wind production. Using the wind turbine software along with the Envi i can determine watts vs wind speed. This allows me to measure all the power being made on the AC side from (6) China non UL gird tied inverters. I have come up with a decent way to use out of the box components to measure my energy production from my PC. The Envi system and the Inspeed wind meter are a great combination. The TED Home ENERGY monitor is also a good device to use as well for wind and or solar. Now there is no guess work in what these turbines and inverters can produce at my site.
