renewable energy - Manpower Promotes Careers for Youth; KPMG Foundation Scholarships - CSR Minute 7/3/12

Manpower has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and employability among youth in the Middle East and North Africa. The company has formed an official alliance with INJAZ al-Arab, which works with corporate and government authorities in training programs for youth to develop into business leaders and entrepreneurs. The Center for Resource Solutions has issued a call for presentations for its Renewable Energy Markets 2012 conference to be held this September. The organization is looking for 10-12 minute presentations featuring new data or ideas, and fresh thinking about renewable-energy markets. Proposals are due by end of the day this Friday. The KPMG Foundation has awarded $470000 in scholarships to minority accounting doctoral students for the 2012-2013 academic year. The recipients include 12 new students and 35 students whose scholarships have been renewed. Each scholarship is valued at $10000 dollars, and is renewable annually for up to five years.
