DIY wind power - making DIY wings : ribs & surfacematerial | part 10/14
In the passed weeks I worked on the construction of the wing. This is an impression on the milling (cutting) of the aerodynamic ribs that support the shape of the wing and the adjusting of the surfacematerial (Slingshot Fuel kite) Just before Christmas we did a test with the Wii Remote/HTC/Turnigy wingmechanism with part of the flightpins. Just to be sure things would work. And it proved to be working! So now we can dive into the rest of the construction of the wing. By the way, thanks for all the support. It feels like flying already!
