Solar Concentrator - A pre-prototype illustration of the solar concentrator.

This a glass bowl filled with water in order to mimic a solid globe of glass.This is the sun shine we get in the monsoon but yet the prototype here is able to concentrate all of the incident sun shine to a bright spot around which a shadow is cast that proves the refraction is taking place as described in theory.here you see that the spot is little bigger than expected but it is not so, the camera is not able to capture the intensity of light at the small spot it spreads it to make a balance of contrast.We have all done the burning of paper by a magnifying glass experiment in our childhood.So we know.
