The International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, is partnering with Sasfin Bank to develop a portfolio of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects with South African small and medium enterprises. The partnership will develop new products for SME manufacturing and services firms, execute energy audits, and train bank staff. It will also examine the energy services company marketplace in South Africa and enable Sasfin to develop energy measurement and verification protocols. Chrysler has begun production of the first Ram 2500 Compressed Natural Gas pickup trucks.
