Solar Power - Market for solar power grows in leaps

www.ntv.co.ke Water and solar equipment supplier Davis & Shirtliff has reported a steep rise in the sales of solar equipment, confirming the fact that alternative energy solutions are being adopted by more and more Kenyans. Annual regional sales volumes of solar energy equipment over the past five years have surged from 100 million shillings to 800 million shillings, this now accounting for about a fifth of the firm's gross sales.
