The 1kW UGE VAWT is anticipated to produce 2000kwh of electricity per year assuming an average wind speed of 12mph with the potential for 4500kwh's in higher wind averages. Not affected by the direction of the wind, VAWT's make good use of wind in areas where the wind changes direction frequently or quickly, and ideal for rural, suburban and urban applications, including rooftop installations. The Solar PV array is expected to produce a little over 210kwh a month or 2500+ kwh per year. The Solar PV system has built-in online monitoring that allows the homeowner to see real time data on the energy production of the system. The cost of Britton's renewable energy systems was made affordable with a 30% State Rebates and 30% Federal Tax Credits for renewable energy systems.
