Al Arabiya spoke with Peter Sage, the founder of Space Energy and its director of global marketing and communications, to discuss the visions and projects Space Energy is working on in the MENA region. Space Energy seeks to offer alternatives to polluting energy sources and sources of energy that do not deplete the earth's resources. It want to be one of the leading commercial enterprise in the field for renewable energy by harnessing the benefits of traditional and new methods for production of reliable, clean and safe power generation and transmission. The Kyoto Solution, for example, is a project focused on climate change. It is designed to provide drinking water in underdeveloped countries and reduce the number of diseases caused by contaminated water. In addition, it seeks to supply "rural electrification in the third world -- areas that cannot get into the power grid economically. We can transfer energy into remote locations to basically assist with refrigeration of medicines, crop refrigeration and lighting towns and villages," Sage said. Interviewed By: Naser ElTibi
