solar power companies - Solar Energy Grants and Tariffs

www.youtube.com The Feed In Tariff was launched by the Government in April 2010 for Solar Energy Systems using photovoltaic technology and systems using Wind turbine technology. The scheme was introduced in order to meet the carbon reduction targets set by Europe. For the home owner, it has meant that if they have solar energy system fitted they will received free electricity from their solar energy system, as well have received payments from the energy companies for the solar energy electricity exported to the grid as well as being paid a Feed In Tariff for the solar energy electricity generated by the system. See our main video www.youtube.com For those on the scheme they are guaranteed a Feed In Tarrif rate for 25 years and returns are tax free and indexed linked to RPI. The Feed In Tariff rate will change and will be reduced, however solar energy systems installed before the rate change are set for 25 years.
