Solar Power Bicester event was a one stop shop event organised by Eco Bicester and sponsored by Bicester Chamber of Commerce. The one stop shop event at the EcoBicester demonstration building in Bicester was an opportunity for businesses and residents to get all the information they need on solar panels and ask questions to professionals and people who have installed solar panels. Derrick McCormick - Sundial Solutions (specialist renewable energy company) - focuses on the cost of photovoltaic systems ( PV ), their potential annual electricity production and FITs payments. Timescales for installation and free schemes are also discussed. Information provided was correct at time of filming (18th October 2011) Since then Feed-in Tarrifs have been reduced by around 50%.
