Our invention is a new type of renewable energy device called the Gravitron which will generate electricity TWO ways. 1. It replicates hydroelectricity, that is, it uses the exact same principles as hydroelectricity, except instead of a flow of running water, there is a flow of neodymium spherical magnets. 2. The Gravitron's magnet track will be wrapped in a wire coil, so that as the neodymium spherical magnet moves along the magnet track through the wire coil (like a train moving along a track through a tunnel), an electric current will be generated, which is a basic law of electromagnetism called Faraday's Law of Induction. The Gravitron starts with a neodymium spherical magnet dropping from the top, down along a magnet track (the magnet track accelerates the neodymium spherical magnet, in addition to the acceleration of gravity, generating more kinetic energy than by gravity alone) into a turbine connected to a generator, converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy. Once the neodymium spherical magnet drops to the bottom of the Gravitron, a series of neodymium magnets (a magnet track) lift it back up to the top. When the neodymium spherical magnet reaches the top it is released from the last neodymium magnet on the magnet track (ie the "magnet trap" or "sticky spot") using electromagnets, allowing it to once again drop.
