Alternative Energy - Lindland Says `Pent Up' Demand Boosting US Auto Sales

March 1 (Bloomberg) -- Rebecca Lindland, director of strategic review at IHS Automotive, discusses the outlook for the automotive industry. General Motors Co., Toyota Motor Corp. and Ford Motor Co. sales in February exceeded analysts' estimates as rising consumer confidence fuels a recovery in the nation's auto market.
