This video shows my electrician installing a generator Interlock kit which will allow me to power up the entire house during a power outage. The power comes from my solar backup system consisting of 12 AGM Deep Cycle batteries with 7.9kW of stored power. The Interlock Kit is traditionally installed with gas generators. However, I've taken it a step further and installed it with a "Solar" generator instead.
