As part of Florida Power & Light's renewable energy workshop program, teachers from across the state visited FPL's Space Coast Next Generation Solar Energy Center, one of the large-scale renewable power plants that the utility opened in the past year. After learning about the technology and ways to educate their students about clean energy at the Florida Solar Energy Center, teachers got to see the solar panels up close at FPL's solar plant.
