Mark Udall's gave a speech on the US Senate floor this morning where he addressed the need to remove provisions from the National Defense Authorization Act that prohibit the military from testing and using alternative fuels, which could make the military less reliant on foreign oil. The amendment passed by a 62-37 margin.
