solar power companies - Solar Power Plants Planned to be Built in Japan as Companies Take Advantge of J-gov price Incentive




As the nation of Japan is still suffering from the effects of the massive nuclear meltdown at former Fukushima NPP, several companies have announced plans to build solar power plants. Companies are looking to take advantage of a J-gov policy of requiring electric companies to buy a certain percentage of clean energy(non-nuclear) energy at an above market price. Yet, will this be enough to get Japan away from Nuclear power?
