Recently, I traveled to the Xzeres wind turbine factory in Wilsonville, OR to pick up 442SR turbines. They gave me the tour of the factory and we also stopped by this 442HV mounted on a 130 foot lattice tower. The turbine was producing about 1000 watts. I'd estimate the winds were around 10-12 mph. Very quiet machine, due to the low rpms. Video recorded 6/17/2011.
