This video is just a small demonstration of our autonomous solar-Stirling generator, designed and built in two years, by the end of our electronics technician course, in Fundacao Liberato, Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. It followed all necessary scientific methodology and has been presented in several regional and international science fairs. The point of focus of the project was not the specific way to generate electricity, but to find the best way possible to transform the concentrated sun heat into useful energy. The full scale prototype shown was just part of the study, that concluded, among other things, that the best scale for dish-Stirling generators was the one capable of supplying part of the heat and electricity demand of a singular household.
