Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Thomas Fanning, chief executive officer of Southern Co., talks about the company's growth outlook and acquisition strategy. The biggest US utility owner by market value said fourth-quarter net income fell on higher operation and maintenance costs to $169 million, or 18 cents a share, meeting analysts' estimates.
