renewable energy - Going To Louisiana- Sending Renewable Energy and Hope For a Better Day

This is an artistic response to the BP Gulf of Mexico oil disaster. We teach our students to express themselves and advocate for what they believe in. Over 100 children studied the BP oil disaster and its effects on our environment. They rendered what they want to see in the sea- clean water for all living things, This mural served as a back drop for a bake sale for pelican restoration. This beautiful watercolor mural was sent to to LEAN- Louisiana Environmental Action Network - for the people of Louisiana. The children showed that one person can make a difference, but joined by many, can make a bigger impact. Here is their completed mural.
