COLWOOD - The Colwood Solar Project got a 3.9 million dollar injection from MP Gary Lunn that will go directly towards enticing 1000 area homeowners to retrofit old hot water tanks. On a first come first serve basis, up to $3800 dollars can be collected individually if it's put towards the overall cost of installation. Solar Hot Water Units can range anywhere from eight to ten thousand dollars. The funding is part of the Government's action plan to improve economic and environmental performance, while supporting high quality jobs.
