solar power companies - Solar Ambassadors Share Stories Nationwide to Help Others Connect

Solar Ambassadors Across America

Gainesville, FL (PRWEB) March 16, 2011

Clean Energy Logistics Lab, Inc., in technology partnership with Caspio, today established a nationwide grassroots online community of solar photovoltaic (PV) enthusiasts to share personal experiences going solar, plus detailed information how their own solar PV panels and systems work. The website, http://www.FindSolarPro.com officially opened their website to the public today.

Known as Solar Ambassadors, individual members and businesses provide panel and system information, videos, and sometimes live system monitoring streams of their own energy generation and usage. Solar Ambassadors do so all for the purpose of increasing the awareness and use of solar PV across America.

“Representing every US state, Solar Ambassadors are uniquely qualified to help teach others about solar photovoltaics (PV) simply by telling their story”, says Hadley Price, the software and website developer. “They are everyday people that enjoy sharing their solar experience online so that others can learn and consider solar as their clean energy source”, Hadley says.

The concept is highly successful in the Pacific Northwest, where Hadley originally developed the program for Solar Oregon, a nonprofit education and outreach organization established in 1979. In 2010 several of Solar Oregon’s ambassadors participated in Oregon’s “Solarize” programs which ultimately resulted in hundreds of solar PV installations throughout Oregon.

Caspio (http://www.caspio.com), a prominent online database management company, powers the community applications, registration process, and cloud computing database. This one-of-a-kind website and public database is designed to educate and connect people interested in solar PV systems across America. Learn more at http://www.FindSolarPro.com.
